So the final week of the thesis was finally here! On February 16th 2016, students, teachers, family and friends gathered to see the colloquium of At The Edge: Research, Film and Design on the Coastal Landscape of New Jersey after Superstorm Sandy.
The presentation went well, followed by good questions from the audience and a film screening in the next room. We recorded the presentation for our friends in NJ and elsewhere, so they are also able to see the end result. This video, and the digital report, will follow soon on this page.
The thesis was graded with an 8.5 out of 10!
Two days later, the film premiered in the Heerenstraat Theater in Wageningen! This was the moment Anouk and I had been looking forward to for so long. It was everything we had even dreamed of, a very big success!
Up to the very last moment, I got asked if there was a seat open and people even called the theater. Due to the level of interest in the film, we are considering to host another evening open to the public, where the premiere was mostly for friends, family and collaborating companies and funds. We will keep you posted if this event will come!
Overall, it was a fantastic week with great reactions and a festive ending at the premiere!
